Greta is on the verge of taking her own life and Pearse has a bounty on his head for asking difficult questions about his missing brother Eddie Kelly. As the clock ticks down to midnight and the night's events expertly fall into place, Jump weaves an existential portrait of the characters' lives as their hopes, fears and secrets are revealed

AI Analysis
Jump is a character-driven crime thriller that prioritizes existentialism and moral ambiguity over systemic critique. The film succeeds in providing complex, non-traditional roles for its female characters, moving them beyond passive archetypes. However, the narrative lacks intersectional breadth. The focus on a localized Northern Irish setting and specific character arcs results in a lack of visible LGBTQ+ or diverse racial representation. Ultimately, the film offers a nuanced portrait of individual agency but remains limited by its narrow demographic scope.
