New Showbiz Analysis

Cold Meat operates within the established boundaries of the survival horror genre. The narrative structure prioritizes a primal struggle for survival over complex character studies. Most character dynamics rely on traditional clichés, such as the heroic male savior. The focus remains on a singular protagonist's journey through a blizzard, limiting the opportunity for diverse social perspectives. Ultimately, the film lacks the intentionality needed to present a wide range of identities or challenge social hierarchies.
