Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever is a traditional action-thriller that emphasizes well-established genre clichés over social commentary. The narrative revolves around a rivalry between two male agents, offering limited space for diverse viewpoints. The film leans heavily on Western institutions like the FBI and DIA to advance its plot, reinforcing traditional hierarchies and systemic authority without questioning them through multi-layered storytelling.
