The film adheres to conventional horror clichés, focusing on a protagonist's descent into madness within a prison setting. This narrow focus hinders the exploration of diverse identities or systemic critiques. Ultimately, the film serves as a traditional thriller that lacks the structural complexity needed for meaningful representation of various social or cultural groups.
