New Showbiz Analysis

The film highlights a strong, intellectually driven female lead who challenges traditional horror clichés. By focusing on scientific inquiry rather than reactive survival, the protagonist maintains significant control over her actions throughout the story. However, the narrative is narrowly centered around a single character's journey, lacking visible diversity in other key areas such as race, LGBTQ+ identity, and disability. Ultimately, the film serves as a focused character study of skepticism, excelling in gender empowerment but falling short in broader diversity.
