Racial & Ethnic Diversity

Excellent

A highly intersectional cast, including Jazz Cartier and Helena Gao, provides a globalized perspective. This moves the narrative beyond Anglo-centric norms to reflect a multifaceted modern music industry.

AI Analysis

This documentary avoids the sanitized tropes of a traditional biopic, opting instead for a gritty examination of the psychological toll of stardom. It successfully pivots from a celebratory tone to a study of survival and identity. The film excels by highlighting the systemic pressures faced by women and people of color. By centering on the emotional highs and lows of fame, it provides a nuanced look at the industry's power dynamics. While the cast suggests a diverse and intersectional environment, the narrative remains focused on the internal, psychological landscape of the artist rather than broad social representation.
