AI Analysis

Unbridled is a character-driven drama that prioritizes the psychological agency of its female protagonist. By focusing on Sarah's journey through trauma, the film moves away from passive tropes toward a model of active recovery. The film succeeds in treating mental health and invisible disabilities with dignity, positioning trauma as a central element of character development. This approach grants the protagonist agency in her own healing process. However, the film lacks visibility regarding racial, ethnic, or LGBTQ+ identities. The narrative's narrow focus on the human-animal bond leaves significant gaps in broader social representation.
