New Showbiz Analysis

Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies prioritizes stylized action and historical pulp over social commentary. The film follows a traditional trajectory that reinforces established hierarchies of gender and authority. It avoids disrupting the conventional expectations of the period piece or the horror genre. The production lacks depth in reflecting multiple aspects of identity, focusing instead on survivalist clichés and binary moral frameworks. By centering masculine archetypes and traditional state authority, the film maintains a narrow narrative scope reminiscent of mid-century action cinema.
