AI Analysis
Grey Skies operates as a conventional science fiction thriller that prioritizes survival tension over social commentary. The plot centers on a group of friends facing an intelligent, non-human threat in a remote setting. While the cast provides a moderate level of demographic variety, the film lacks thematic depth regarding identity. It does not engage with the subversion of traditional social hierarchies or the centering of marginalized agency. Ultimately, the film remains a genre-driven piece. It focuses on the external threat of an alien presence rather than exploring internal systemic critiques or diverse lived experiences.
