AI Analysis

The Death of Superman functions as a conventional epic, prioritizing mythic conflict and traditional genre tropes over social deconstruction. While the ensemble provides a baseline of diversity, the narrative architecture remains rooted in classical heroism. Strength lies in the agency granted to female characters like Wonder Woman, who participate in the central conflict with tactical authority. The Justice League roster also offers a diverse framework through its various members. However, the film misses opportunities to engage with identity politics or systemic social structures. It largely avoids exploring non-cisnormative identities, disability, or cultural critiques, opting instead for a standard superhero narrative.
