LGBTQ+ Representation
The film operates within a heteronormative framework centered on traditional romantic interests. It lacks active inclusion of non-cisnormative identities but avoids overt derogatory depictions.
Gender Representation
Gender dynamics remain secondary to the protagonists' comedic escapades. Women appear primarily as romantic objectives rather than characters with nuanced agency or depth.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity

Religious & Cultural Diversity
The narrative treats holiday sanctity and nuclear family stability with irreverence. It prioritizes stoner-comedy rebellion over the preservation of traditional social or institutional order.

AI Analysis
The film makes a notable impact by breaking the racial homogeneity typical of mainstream holiday comedies. By centering a South Asian lead, it challenges the 'all-American' archetype through a character with high agency. However, the production remains anchored in conventional comedic structures. It relies on heteronormative romantic pursuits and standard raunchy tropes that offer little exploration of gender agency or diverse identities. Ultimately, the film's progressive value lies in its casual integration of ethnic diversity and its subversion of social decorum, even as it misses opportunities for broader representation.
